I’m somewhat retired, and I don’t really know what that means, except that I may have too much free time on my hands which leads me to post about the things that keep me occupied. Such as books, red wine, music, restaurants, movies, gardening, trivia or things I discover while researching other matters and red wine. Beer and cognac also figure in there somewhere.

I currently reside in a charming little community of Grand Forks, North Dakota.  Great summers, bad winters, nice people, clean air, clean city, low crime and flat.
